Gino Garcetti
Gino co-owned Garcetti’s Garage in Queens with his brother, Marco. It was opened in 1947 by Alfonso Garcetti. The garage burned to the ground in the middle of the night on the eve of St. Patrick’s Day 1984. Two years later, a grand jury was convened to review allegations of foul play. Gino was a no-bill, but Marco was indicted and later did seven years at Rikers. A new garage was opened on this original site. It’s called “Gino’s”.
